Hi, Fernando! It was nice to see you yesterday! I just wanted to stop by your website and leave you something before i head back to shanghai haha I like your art work! Their very beautiful and so is your website. Well, keep up the good artistic work you have done throughout your shows and much, much more. Have a great day!!! Take, care
Dear Fernando, Greetings from a native of Halifax, Canada, who remembers your very talented Dad when he was first cellist of Symphony Nova Scotia. In watching a video of Leonard Rose I noted your Dad's name among the fine students taught by Mr. Rose. Teachers (and performers) don't get any better than that! And, clearly, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, since you are such a talented and interesting visual artist. I find your portraits very striking and appealing, as well as the techniques you use. Bravo! With best wishes, Robert Ryan Waterloo, Ontario rwryan@uwaterloo.ca rwryan.33@gmail.com
My father was the principal Cellist for various Symphony Orchestras around the world, finally retiring from the Veracruz Symphony Orchestra in Mexico. He, among other family members, was an inspiration for me to pursue the creative arts. I have been to various art schools and seminars, I have won a number of awards including the Grumbacher Award. Portraiture, I love, but capturing the crisp lines of color, depth and movement in my new series "Motion" is my goal. I have been painting professionally for a number of years and it is truly something that I love dearly.
